Yeah. When we had to give my first dog fluids under her skin a cap came off of a used needle as I was trying to remove it from the saline bag, and the needle stuck my finger, which made my finger swell, gave me slight hives, and made it a bit harder to breathe. If I wasn't already taking allergy medication + immediately took my emergency inhaler and some Benadryl I think I would have had an even worse reaction. I am apparently more allergic to dogs than I thought I was.

Are you prone to getting sore throats?

Every time I leave my house and interact with the real world, I come home with a clogged throat feeling for 2-3 days. It doesn't really get sore. It just feels like I swallowed wool or something? It seizes up. I need to have a lot of hot tea or hot soup to burn a hole through it so I can breathe properly again.

Actual sore throats? Not many. I had strep-from-hell in 2011 and it took almost six weeks to respond to antibiotics. It was considered a super bug. Since then I haven't had any major infections.

Usually when I go in public I end up ill with either a sore throat and/or an ear infection. When I went to public school I also used to have constant strep throat, because whenever any kid got it I'd just immediately get it, and it didn't matter if I just had it. I don't like going in public. lmao

Do you have asthma?

I don't have asthma, but I have UAR which is a form of sleep apnea that can kill me the same way people die from asthma.

I'm also very allergic to some airborne things which give me acute pneumonia.

I've had pneumonia more times than I can count.

I've had asthma since I was a toddler, I think. I know I've been using inhalers since around 3 or so.

UAR sounds super scary to have. 8O

Do you drink enough water/other fluids?

Sometimes. Sometimes not.
Sometimes not because drinking water is sometimes what triggers my nose to drip and my eyes to water.

Same question.

Yes. I have a condition called POTS (and lots of other health stuff going on), so it is necessary I get enough fluids and salt/electrolytes! I have always been a "thirsty" person though.

Same question.

I do drink water, but maybe not enough.
I will try to drink more water when my school fully reopens by the end of this month.

Has anything or anyone caught you off-guard as of recent but in a good way?

I met a PhD candidate who was so beautiful and calming, I couldn't help but feel caught off guard.

She had a guardian angel presence about her.

My cats don't usually jump up really high places, but my b/w cat has been trying to lately.

Is it hot or cold where you live right now?

In general, it is really hot here this time of year.
However, this has been a wet, cool year for us. Right now we are in between hot and cool. 66F and rainy.

Fairly cool. Humid 27°C/81°F early nighttime.

What's the first suspicion you have in mind at the this moment?

Nothing right now, but I still believe my mom has mental health issues.

If she does, she will not accept such problems she may have.

In fact, she used emotional blackmail against me earlier today as a means
to stop me from returning to school; which will fully reopen on September 27th.

Same question.

.. My mom may or may not have a form of TOS for years.

She just refuses to get it checked. Luckily I'm good with massages.

Had you ever... Cut too much of your own fingernails when cutting nails?

Yeah. I used to refuse to cut my nails as a kid because that happened every time (I have poor coordination) and I hated how it felt.

Was there anything you just couldn't handle doing as a child, beyond toddlerhood where it's normal to freak out over those things (taking baths, cutting your nails, brushing your teeth, etc.)? Why did you hate doing it?
