Yes! I've always built forts and hiding spaces. I'm writing this from my pillow fort.
Would you like to have the inside of your home repainted?
If so, what colour(s)?
Different rooms would have different colours for me. The bedroom would be painted pink, yellow, purple and maybe some light blue accents. I'm okay with the living room/kitchen (open floor plan and they run together almost) being white (It is white now) but I would like some colour accepts - like a border around the top perhaps - although this is the first time I've considered the question and I haven't come up with a specific colour yet. Most importantly, I would paint all the ceilings blue skies with clouds.
Same question, please.
[I simply must respond to the forts and hiding spaces question even though it's passed and I missed my chance. A few years ago, I lived in a mobile home that I owned. I had turned one room that only had three walls into an office. Rather than a door to access the office via the hallway - there was simply no wall between the room and the hallway. It was a design feature - the wall wasn't removed, it had never been there. Anyway, the closet in the room I used as an office was in the corner of the room and behind the wall at the back of the closet was my bedroom's closet. I cut a hole in the back of the closet to create a crawl space to get from one room to the other. Then I took the bedroom door off its hinges, put a piece of plywood up, then sheetrock, then painted it over so that you couldn't tell there had ever been a door there or a bedroom behind it. The way it stood now, the only way in or out of the room was through the crawl space created through the closets.
In the bedroom itself, I cut a hole in the floor, inserted a trap door with a lock, and covered it with a rug. That way, there was always a way out of the bedroom besides the crawl space - but no one would know about it unless they lifted the rug.]
