Just two: Orion and the Southern Cross.

Same question.

I am fortunate to live in an area where the stars are clearly visible. I can only really identify orion and ursa major though. I'm sorry to learn that others here don't get to see the stars due to light pollution. Incidentally, I live where Thomas Hardy set all his novels. In one he specifically describes a character being able to observe the Northern Lights from here. This is no longer possible due to light pollution.

Have you ever/would you like to see the Northern Lights? Or indeed the Southern ones (should that be a thing, which I assume it is)?

To be honest yes I would like to see them. They're one of these strange and beautiful things nature does.

Sure, I'd love to see the Southern Lights (aka, "Aurora Australis"). Apparently the southern part of Tasmania is a good place to see it in Australia, although the timing of its appearance seems to be hard to predict. I remember hearing on the news a few months ago about a Qantas passenger flight that managed to track one down.

Same question.

I would like to see it.
Heck, I never been in places northern or southern enough to see snow, let alone the lights.

I was far enough up north to get a glimpse of the northern lights at the edge of the horizon once.

What's the strangest thing you've seen in the sky?

There was an unmoving "star" that seemed to blink slightly different colours, very inconsistently, and I thought it was a satellite. After seeing it for a few days and it not matching the description of one I scrapped that idea. I now think it may have just been a planet or something and the atmosphere was messing with my ability to see it clearly and consistently.

Have you ever seen a satellite in the sky?

Yes, on a clear night satellites are clearly visible in the sky. At least the non-geostationary ones are. If they don't move they don't look any different from stars so far as I can tell. I can also see the International Space Station as it crosses the sky.

Do you think Earth has ever been visited by an extra-terrestrial space craft? Doesn't have to have landed.

They haven't just visited they are here. There are too many things that cannot be explained by rational means.

I tend to believe everything's possible.

Do you have a Halloween costume?

The only ones I know are Babooshka and Wuthering Heights. My opinion of them is that they are deeply unusual. I neither like nor dislike them. I'd never choose to listen to either but if either came on I'd be unable to turn it off until it had finished. I think I'm saying I find them more art than entertainment.

Perhaps others have a more informed opinion, therefore:

I've listened to a number of her songs. I tend towards music that is a little different and some of her songs fall into this category.
