Lol whenever I see a thread title that isn't a question asking if it's an Aspie thing but just states some sort of normal human behaviour, I feel like posting "no it isn't an Aspie thing" before even reading the OP. I only don't do it because it might be rude to.

I'm struggling to find your comment on my thread Joe (you know the one you mentioned in the haven).

I do know the thread in question. I made that one when Hyperlexion was still a mod on WP. Anyone remember her?

It's not a big deal really. Joe thought she had offended me so I was just curious. I'm pretty sure it wasn't offensive though.

I think this one. The last post in the first page. As you said, she put it in an inoffensive way.

• The "counting" threads

I don't take part in any threads in the off the wall section, although I understand how some users like to participate in them as a pastime. It's more annoying when they take up the first page in random discussion though. The "what time is it where you are?" thread is my worst (sorry to the OP of that thread, I don't mean it against you personally as it's got thousands of posts so it must be quite entertaining to some) because, well, I just don't see much point to it.

*********
Now my own input.

I kinda find those "counting" threads etc boring but I like the fact that that whole section is very peaceful.

I also find threads about dreams (dreams while sleeping) rather boring. I guess it's not just about threads but any mention of dreams in general. I don't read fictions that involve dreams because I know it'll be boring.

Thanks for that.

It's funny because I literally count my way through life. I count everything from the moment I wake up in the morning but I very rarely participate in the counting threads. They just don't interest me.

The games forum is really peaceful now you mention it and I actually believe that people have forged quite good online relationships in there.

But it's horses for courses so I get how some people might not like it.

I'm not sure they count. :P

For me it all the PPR threads, most of which I find to be just noise and willy waving contests.

Years ago on WP there was a group of people who had a serious issue with people getting a higher post count due to them playing in the games forum.

I could never understand why that mattered to them.

I could never understand that either.

And I hate most threads in the PPR, and it causes so much problems among members yet it always seems to be thriving. I stay well out of it unless I'm really bored.

I miss her a lot. She made me feel welcome when I felt nobody else did.
