A list is not published because members tend to be aware of a ban when it occurs and occasionally, an announcement is made to the thread in which the banned member was particularly active (and often, disruptive).

Plus, anyone is free to ask a moderator privately if someone has been banned - on the understanding that there will be no discussion of the details, which typically involve PMs with the banned member.
