We're kinda like those hippos that die because they pollute their water source with endless waste.

At the very least, we're no brighter than they are.

Yeah.

People on YouTube who do stupid fake burps and call it a skill. I don't even call them burps, I call them obnoxious roars. Real burps come from the stomach or just before the stomach. Fake burps come from the lungs. Anyone can fill their lungs with air and squeeze their throat muscles together when forcefully releasing it so it sounds like a burp, which they can control how high or low it sounds and how long and say sentences whilst doing it. It's not f*****g real. Grow up. I'm more impressed by burps that are real and you can tell they are real by the person's facial expression and body language.

As a person with R-CPD I am unable to burp but get fascinated by them so my secret shame is that I sometimes like to go on YouTube and find videos of people doing real genuine burps, but all I can find are these idiots doing obnoxious sounds.

Greed. It's practically just as bad as war.

One that appears whenever I use this machine: When I google for “e-mail” log in, it’s because I want to log in to that e-mail address (what else?) so why then do I get reams of information and options, most of which have nothing to do with what I asked for?

I bought a realistic looking plastic toy hippo and put it in a corner of my kitchen. Who would have thought something like a tiny hippo would become a Canadian icon? Especially when the PSA totally flopped at teaching kids not to believe everything they see on TV and believed House Hippos *were* real, because they stopped paying attention when the lady explains all of that boring stuff.

I also recently read the book The Moomins and the Great Flood, and the Moomins, which are a family of trolls that resemble tiny anthropomorphic hippos, used to live behind stoves in people's houses. Maybe they're the Scandinavian cousins of the NA House Hippo. :)

In the "name all X-letter words in English beginning with __" quizzes and a lot of answers are words you've never heard of or never use, like zuu, maf, woozer, caca, tref, wobwob, and so on. They just feel like made-up words that you'll never think of in a million years in order to complete the quiz.

I do love those games (found on Jetpunk.com) but I do wish they were a little bit easier. It seems most of the quizzes there are for people with high IQs, as in MENSA type IQs.

When people complain to the BBC about getting bullied on the road when they're out driving

What do they expect the BBC to do about it
