I'm multi-exceptional. I'm curious if there are any others that have found a home here before me. You don't need to share your story unless you feel comfy doing so. I'm mostly just curious because I understand we're an incredibly small and rare community inherently. Even so, Thank you!

I find that term kind of insulting, because it snobbishly looks down on all other talents, achievements and distinctions as nothings - if you weren't in an ivy-league college.

For example, my IQ is said to be at a "superior" level, and is about 7 points higher than the average Ivy league student - or so I'm told. But do I qualify as exceptional, by your measure? No.

I guess I'll just have to centent myself with the mere and repugnant "Superior" gift, I guess.

There was no such thing as 2e when I went to school (1961 - 1975) . I possibly could be.

I thought I would offer a definition, in case there are people that are not familiar with the terms. (I was not familiar with the terms.)

Twice-Exceptional
Multi-Exceptional does not have such a Wikipedia page devoted to it.
I found this webpage.
What is multi-exceptionality?

The Critisism Section On The Wiki
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twice_exceptional
"The term "twice exceptional" has been listed among terms to avoid using for neurodivergent people, possibly because it is a synonym of "special", itself identified as an ableist term."
So we're using Gifted Plus now it seems

This is my story, not a definition!
