Irulan- wasn't Rhycek the name of a bad guy in X-files?

I dreamed the name Howard Katz. He was the leader of a group of people in purple and yellow hooded robes who were going around slashing people with scimitars. I was trying to convince him to make them stop.

In the dream I heard it as a song on an album, by a male singer, in a heavy rock style melody.

Wow, these are very powerful words. I could see that as a part of a longer poem/song lyrics. Dreams like this are so interesting because often times when I dream an idea, I wake up feeling like the idea came from somewhere else. But, these things came out of our minds---so they are our creations unless we heard them somewhere else.

Sometimes (but extremely rarely) I happen to dream about things which later on I can’t identify as existing in reality or belonging to the dream world – I’m not sure myself to which of those worlds they belong. For example once, many years ago, I had a dream (but was it really a dream?) in which someone informed me my cousin was always talking in his sleep – no idea if it was a family member who told me about this in reality or whether it was just the information from my dream. And maybe two weeks ago I had a similar experience with mom telling me that day she was going to return home from work for some time at noon (to take something from home, I think) and in turn go back to work. That day I couldn’t remember if I had heard her talking with me about this in a dream or if she really had told me about this or something.

I also had once a dream in which I was a man whose name was Zac: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf49702-0-210.html :D

On a few occasions I dreamed also about people whose names were known to me – those people really exist somewhere or not but their names were ordinary names from my country – I couldn’t recall them after waking up though, only the initial letters.

As a child I had a dream about kittens and I still remember very well that the name of one of them was Rosol (broth) – no, in Poland we don’t call our pet cats Broth.

Aimless – no, this dude from the X-Files was named Alex Krycek: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Krycek

At the time when I dreamed the song, I was just getting well again after a period of severe depression. That may have had an impact.

Wow I don't think I even dream of people I don't know in real life, let alone dream up names for them. My dreams might have bizarre or scary stuff happening, but its always just me and my family and friends.

One more thing on the topic I just recalled – once I had a dream that I was watching a really scary horror movie the title of which was „Cadaverous Flowers”, I don’t remember what exactly it was about, there was something about Hitler, I don’t remember anything more. I remember only that in the dream I was google searching the title of the movie to check if it really existed (and it did but only in the dream reality, such a movie has never been directed - I checked it later when I woke up).

As a child, one night I was also dreaming about a woman whose name was Para who was about to be put into something like a harem of some man. This name doesn’t function as a given name where I live but it has several meanings in my native language – steam but also couple or pair.

And this night I had a dream, in which someone started a conversation with me online in the late evening and I replied in English but it turned out he was Polish and that he was most likely a person from the Pegasus games board and I told him I was going to bed and that we could have a talk the next day - when I woke up at night, I started to wonder whether it was a dream or the part of the previous evening indeed :? I was inclined to vote for the latter option as the true one but in the morning, I was able to think about it more clearly and realized that it was all a realistic dream 8)
