I have a question...
If you weren't born during the '90s but were 10-19 (during years '90-'99) does that make you a kid of the '90s?

It all depends on how u see it. I was Born in 89 but my childhood years is in the 90s

But if you born in the mid 90s like 95 or 99 then yup probably don't know whats going on in the 90s

Out of all the great American cartoons of that decade, I miss Beetlejuice the most. AOL Video had episodes of it on their website a couple years ago, and I practically fell in love with it all over again, to the point where I was even quoting it !I especially liked the wordplay (puns, figures of speech, etc.) that it employed, and I thought the character designs for Lydia and BJ were kinda cute.

I know that's kind of surprising coming from someone who eats, sleeps and breathes Japanese animation, but Beetlejuice really was a clever cartoon. I'd definitely buy it if it ever came out on DVD.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Beetlejuice a 80s cartoon?

It originally aired from '89 to '91, so it was sort of a hybrid late 80s/early 90s cartoon.

I was born in the early '90s, and my favorite '90s cartoon was Rugrats. I also loved to watch One Saturday Morning.

I also remember that the '90s is considered the Disney Renaissance, and my parents took me to see almost every Disney movie that came out that decade. I vaguely remember going to see The Lion King, even though I was barely three years old when it came out.

I very vaguely remember Britney Spears' rise to fame. When her first song (...Baby One More Time) came out, I remember thinking she was saying "kick me baby one more time".

But yes, I do have a lot of fond memories from the '90s.

Why is Pokemon on this list? Pokemon didn't mysteriously die from Y2K... Platinum was released last March, and the Gold and Silver remakes are due next spring.

So anyone who may have wished they could have Pokemon, your wish is granted.

I was prepubescent and a teen throughout the 90's so I still remember a fair bit of it, particularly top 40 music (I was a teeny bopper back then, hard to believe when I look at my music tastes now). '96 and '97 are the years I remember the most clearly.

I remember:
- Hanson, and how Anti-Hanson I was, mostly because they kept bumping my favourite band, Savage Garden, to number 2 on the chart.
- That song "How Do I Live Without You" which was in the top 50 for like 18 months.
- When Peter Andre attempted a music career.
- Crowded House's Woodface LP (my brother bought the casette tape)
- Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Boyzone, NSync, TLC, The Corrs, Alanis Morisette, En Vogue, Silverchair, Nirvana, Celine Dion, Shania Twain and other random acts.
- Titanic, Terminator, Aliens, numerous Disney movies (Lion King, Aladdin, Pocahontas)
- Sega vs Nintendo (I put my money on Sega and played Sonic and Mortal Kombat a lot)

I remember being obsessed with Mel B (Scary Spice). I had the leopard print leggings that I wore every day!
Before the Spice Girls it was Oasis. I still love that band today :D

I used to watch Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the mornings. Kimberly (the original Pink Ranger) was my favourite, followed by Trini (Yellow Ranger) I had action figures of them both and a Pink Ranger dressup kit. They've recently remastered the series, and it's bringing back a lot of memories, but why did they have to add those "splats" during onscreen action?!

Pokemon. What more can I say? I used to watch it in the mornings, collect the toys and play the games religiously. I remember when I beat the Elite Four for the first time just before school ;)
