I got rave reviews from my dentist/oral hygienist the last time I went. "Just keep doing what you're doing!"

I don't like it there either, but the worst part for me was always the fluoride treatment. And they do a much quicker fluoride varnish where I go now.

Edit:fluoride veneer lol.

i've got the double wammy.

i have braces so i get to see the dentist and an orthodontist through out the year.
my teeth aren't crooked but my canine teeth were impacted so i had to have them removed. they then attached a chain to the impacted teeth/the roof of my mouth and slowly pulled them down. the braces were to create a space for my new teeth. oh and this all happened two weeks after i had four wisdom teeth removed.

loads of fun.Image

I have braces to :/ the orthodontist is not as bad as the dentist in my opinion.

Your lucky. My orthodontist was horrible. He kept complaining about how I was not brushing my teeth correctly & he insisted on showing me how to brush every time by making me look in a mirror while the light was in my face. I was crying in my sleep when I wore the head-gear. He only saw kids & he refused to let the parents watch while he worked with em. He kept talking about how my teeth wer not rite & but as soon as the insurance was ready to run out; he took em off despite that he had said my teeth still wer not rite. The dentist was a lot nicer & didn't have half the complaints about me not brushing rite. I was lucky when I went Monday because it only cost me $172 for the cleaning & x-rays & I don't have insurance. It cost me over $100 six months ago when I went just for the cleaning/check-up so I was expecting it to be over $200 with the x-rays.

My mom has a lot of fillings, caps & crowns on her teeth & a filling came out last week that was put in three months ago. She saw the dentist when I did & he said her tooth was cracked but he put the filling back in for free & said he'll cap/crown it(I forget witch one) next time there's a problem. She never had braces or had her Wisdom teeth come in.
My dad never had braces but he had to get his wisdom teeth removed when he was an older teenager & they broke apart when the dentist was trying to remove em & every now & then pieces still comes out :o

That sounds like a movie. Im sorry....

Thanx things aren't that bad anymore with my teeth. My mom has things much worse but I think that's more common with their generation. She teaches pre-K & she has some stories about her students having horrific teeth & problems cuz the parents probably don't brush the kids teeth or take the kids to the dentist. I would highly recommend taking care your teeth while you have em.

I hope things go OK for you at the dentist Kat15 & there's no cavities or anything
