Some of us do say it, OP.

Plants are living things too, therefore vegetarians eat dead things as well

Aarrgh, you beat me to it!
That was the only thing on OP's list that bothered me. This is the very reason why it pains me to throw away food that has gone bad: It was once alive, whatever it was, and it didn't give up its life voluntarily. To not even eat it, is the utmost disrespect for life.

Some food is voluntary - fruits are freely given, in the expectation that we'll spread their seeds; it works, although not in quite the same way it used to! Anyway, if you eat an orange, you're doing no harm to anything. Which is kinda cool.

Why does no one bother to say "Wait a minute! What the hell? We stuff dead things into ourselves to survive. We use reproductive organs of plants as decorations. We derive pleasure from our pee-pees. We spend our lives doing things that we don't want to do, going to places we don't want to go, meeting people we don't want to meet. What for? What is the reason for all of this? Stop whatever you're doing, people! There's no point. We're all just a bunch of filthy lab rats in the research institute of life!"

So what? All that is obvious. It should only affect people who originally thought there was some kind of set meaning to life. You exist, so you may as well try to make sense of your own self.

That's true! :D
I didn't think about that.

Thanks Ambivalence, that brightened my day! :)

Until you flush the toilet and send those seeds sliding into a short existence of rotting in sewage. :)

That's what I did. :)

As for the other things, it's just what you get when you have a species with such an advanced brain. If we didn't have all of this 'illogical order' in our world then I think society would break down and people would start killing and eating eachother (again...).
