Anneyce and Postures, how old were you when you moved out from Poland?

I think they make shoe and furniture polish there.

Our winters weren't cold over the course of a couple of last years, on the opposite, this evil white fluff falling from the sky in quantities this year and the year before, is something quite unexpected.

We do have datschas but they are much more rare than it is in Russia. This word is rarely used in Poland in reference to those small houses.

I went a lot of times in Poland, I speak Polish fluently, but write it painfully. I know a few Poles here in Greece, No i nawet wczoraj jadłem Gołompki.

Poland is flat and historically unlucky country.

Everyone I've ever met from there has been very polite and kind to me.
My great grandmother was born in Warsaw. Her name was Iulia. I think that's a beautiful name.

Just because I am curious and this seems to fit into this topic: our dog is named Bartosh (he already had that name when we got him) and I know that it is a first name that is given to some Polish men. But I would like to now how common that name is. Is it a popular name in Poland or was it given to the dog because there rarely are people called Bartosh anymore?
