But for me, I'm permitted to only choose one, so I can't vote in the poll.

Honestly, I wasn't looking for an argument.

You know what I think about astrology. I'm sceptical but appreciative at the same time.

If I could pick, I would want alchemy to be real. The idea of taking a hunk of lead and turning it into gold would be very appealing to me. Although if it were real, gold would be quite devalued so maybe not.

I picked UFOlogy - cuz then there'd be aliens flying around and that would be cool...

If cryptozoological creatures actually existed then there would be no such thing as cryptozoology, right?

Alchemy is/was a spiritual practice. The idea of transmuting lead into gold is a metaphor. The lead is the base qualities within yourself.

During the middle ages, the church persecuted 'alchemists' as heretics because spiritual practices not mediated through their church were a threat to their power, and alchemy went against their dogma.

I don't really know anything about those. I would like to be telepathic. I want to contaminate the world with my brain and social media is way too slow and ineffective. :)

cryptzoology...I think it would be a magical world with dragons, helldogs, werewolves, sea monsters, fairy folk, lake monsters, bigfoot, giant ship swallowing squid,
no vampires though.

None of those. Cold fusion would be cool.

Yeah. Cold fusion = God mode.

The ability to turn any sort of particles into other particles without giving off ridiculous amounts of energy would be the greatest leap forward in technology since the invention of the wheel.

Homeopathy. Would made medicine much easier, wouldn't it? Less people would be sick if it wasn't such bulls**t.
