This.
Also: there are different types of alcoholic beverages and you can react differently to them. Being drunk on tequila can give you a different drunkenness than wine.

I get relaxed and a bit sedated really from wine. I have never taken enough cider or champagne to get any effect from it, and I don't touch other alcoholic beverages so I don't know how I'd react to them.

Thats an urban myth that different alcholic bevarages give you a different kind of drunk. If you intake the same amount of alchohol into your bloodstream- you get the same kind of drunk regardless.
.

This calls for extensive experimentation ! ! Here's to chemistry ! !!

I just Googled it and read up on it. Seems it's wrong indeed.
I thought it was true.
Thanks for letting me know! :)

Oh man I tell you what, I really miss drinking. It was such a big part of my life and I will miss it dearly,

I havent had anything to drink in over 40 days. I feel like jesus in the wilderness son, sh-t is wack but I'm doing it for the children of Israel so I cant mess this up.

Yes, I've replaced alcohol with becoming a prophet. serious business indeed

When I get drunk I have a tendency to just sit where I am and just start laughing at everything. I also tend to be in a noticably brighter mood.

Last time I was drunk though, aside from the laughing at stupid stuff, I wound up dancing around ballroom style with a mop and having a "conversation" with a decorative stuffed animal that sits on a curio cabinet.

So yeah, definitely the true embodiment of the so called Happy Drunk.

Also, I am a Hophead, love sampling various brews (the mass market ones tend to suck, I prefer microbreweries such as Weyerbachers and Troegs. ABV is usually around 12%, sometimes approaching 20% for some of the stuff I have had.) . Also a huge fan of a specific spiced rum, Kraken Rum. The bottle is plain ole awesome looking and it tastes pretty damn good straight or on the rocks.

I know I tolerate people better after a couple drinks, technically making me less likely to get set off, because I am too drunk to care too much and will take things in good humor more easily. But every drug effects people differently, I know some people can get to be real a**holes when they drink, even my dads done that I prefer if he drinks with just me and maybe a couple people then its all good but chaos+drinking+my dad is not a very good combination.

I think it maybe depends on the person. I think though sometimes my dad waits till he's pissed off to get drunk, I on the other hand try to pre-plan and drink before entering into a potentially aggravating situation so by the time anything that would bother me happens I don't care so much because of the alcohol.

I'm a friendly drunk. I love talking to people and laughing with them. I'm the exact opposite when I'm not drunk. I think my life would be easier if I could just be drunk all the time.

My usual drink is cointreau, room temperature and straight out of the bottle.
Two liquors that I have sampled and felt like the 'high' was very different are Mescal and Absinthe.
Oddly enough the Mescal didn't taste like kerosene, and the 'high' was not like the usual being drunk.
Absinthe made me stagger, but I didn't feel drunk.
