I'd like to think superman would win, if only because between the two boring, one-dimensional mary sues, Goku is by far the more annoying.

In Goku's defense, in the original dragonball he had his naivety going for him. He never really seemed to understand how much danger he was in, which was kind of endearing, if somewhat annoying that this was always played as an asset and never a liability. I loved the fight with the ninja, (who's name I forget. I know it started with an "M". Was it Musashi?) How Goku just ignores all his rambling threats and kicks his @$$.

But when he got older, that trait of his character was lost and wasn't really replaced with anything else. At the same time the spotlight got overly focused on him and all the other (much better) characters got pushed aside. So we wound up with a character getting less interesting but taking up more screen time.

Goku is hardly invincible. He almost died of disease after all, and I'm not sure if GT was cannon, (and I can understand why it wouldn't be considering how awful it was) but in it he was vulnerable to poison. However, I doubt Superman would be the type to exploit these weaknesses...

...But Piccard might! :D

I've a question: So if Superman is incapable of beating Goku in an all out superhero brawl, is there anyone/thing that can?

Super Boo, after absorbing Gohan :lol: Or Vegetto, by definition he should be able to beat Goku.

Popeye can take pretty much anyone down in one punch, but as both superman and Goku can fly, he'd never get close enough to punch either of them...

...Unless he had a jetpack!

The fact that people can have a serious discussion on this shows how nerdy people can be. Who can say who would win. Even if there was a show in which the two met and fought, it would probably end up being a draw or with Goku dying (since he can be brought back to life and therefore they could still make the cartoons even with him dead). But, seriously, arguing about this is pointless.
