Building PCs isn't hard. Get components, slap them togethor, and bam a computer.

It'd be hard to get PC parts where I live.

Its not that hard, there is a computer shop next to Subway who sell computer parts and stuff like that.
I have two laptops, one i never use coz its a PC the other i always use coz its a MAC, i really like my MAC coz its got a 120GB Hard drive, 1GB of RAM and a webcam, i give my computer a Hug.
Building a computer from scratch is pretty hard, well for me it is i can replace a hard drive and i can replace a ram stick but replacing a motherboard is something that would take me a while.

I'm not sure it's all that much cheaper
than the package deals one can get.
Though if you have some parts already,
you can cut down on the expense.

I just have my laptop here.
At my mom's I have quite a
collection of out of date machines.

Yes. I have one here in my bedroom, my own laptop, and a computer in the study (technically it's my mom's but she never uses it).

PCs are around $2000 here, which means no one will get one for me.

In the US, you can get a really nice new PC for only $600. Sometimes for even less!

My life is bad though, and it always will be until I can get something I want. :(
