Many people can very clearly see me as a monk.
It's a shame I'm not Catholic, because if I were, I'd go with that option in a heartbeat.
My father thinks I could be a good lawyer. I've gotten into debates where I've gotten the opposing side to agree with me even when I knew I was wrong!
A friend who knew me for many years said that he could see me as a psychologist who specializes in Autism.
I've been told by many people that I can write well.
I've been told a number of times that I can compose music well.
When I was in Elementary school, one person had a dream in which I became a military leader.

I just remembered, when I was little my mom thought I would make a great lawer because I loved to argue.

Computer programmer.

Which has always baffled me; I like things computers do, but I am stubbornly disinterested in how they work. I once took a course in basic programming and I thought it was the single most boring hour of my life. My brother and a good friend are programmers, when they're droning on and on about it- relentlessly, I really have to struggle to stay awake.

Have fun with that.

Astronomer -- my mother as far back as I can remember (one of my earliest narrow and focused interests); it's kinda shrunk from the usual PhD to a Diploma in astronomy [without astrophysics] whilst cleaning telescope lenses at the local observatory.
Tanker -- me, the army won't take me due to AS/AD/OCD, but that's cool.

Something in the justice system has always been in the forefront of the minds around me and what I'm "suited" for, executive branch that is. I'm working on this one at the moment.

Helek, my mother once joked that I would become a nun, because I was reading Dead Man Walking and then God's Little Devotional Book for Teens. :)

If my obsessions and interests shared any common ground with religion, I would be all over becoming a nun. Think about it. Having the same routine every day, silence, solitude, sequestered from consumer society... Sounds good to me!

I was supposed to have been a rocket scientist.

But I turned out to be a secretary, instead.

In high school the aptitude tests said I'd be a good mechanic, or a great firewatcher. But they don't have firewatchers anymore.....

When I was very young they said I'd be an engineer like my grandfather, because I took everything apart.

When I got a bit older, they said I'd be a teacher, perhaps because I spoke endlessly of things that they found boring.

When I was twelve, they said I should work in the movie business, because I was so fixated by it.

When I was fifteen, they said I should work with computers, because I was so good at it.

And then in turn I became...

A programmer, a writer, a graphic artist, a cameraman, a game artist, a computer animator, a teacher, a game designer, a visual effects supervisor, a creative director, a production manager, a freelance consultant, a technical director, a systems administrator, and now I'm the "official genius geek" that does all of the above.

But my true love is writing.
