^^^the inner voices in dense mixes, the contours of the bass notes [previously I just heard the notes without too much definition, now I can hear things like the pitch of a kick drum as well as the sound of the beater striking the drum and the natural decay of said drum stroke, I can hear the wires in the snares now, the tom toms have a sharper pitch and roundness about them. the cymbals are not just "TSHHHHH" noises now but I can hear a zildjian or a paiste and tell the difference between them. the bass now has a tactile room-vibrating feel that shakes the floor at times and makes loose objects in the listening room vibrate in sympathy. I can for the first time [at least since I had my magnapans set up] clearly hear sung lyrics without guessing what they are singing, even in dense mixes.
