Albert Einstein is a person I find very interesting and deeply respect. It's comforting for me to know that someone as odd as he was made such a success of himself. With all that he had stacked against him from childhood and beyond, he proved himself to be one of the greatest thinkers in the history of the world. (And it's been suggested he was an aspie...why not!) In fact, my dog's name is Einstein, although that also has a lot to do with Cowboy Bebop (one character is a Corgi named Einstein, called Ein, and my Ein is also a Corgi).
When I came across this quote from Einstein, I actually began to cry. It's exactly what I feel like most of the time. There are times I feel like I must be crazy, and sometimes I feel like it must be other people who don't even try to understand those of us who are different. This is the first time I realized I wasn't alone in feeling that way -- and it came from this great man I already admired.
EDIT: I just realized my sig is not showing. It's supposed to say, "The question that sometimes drives me hazy: is it myself, or the others, who is crazy?"
