Do people today not know what a war is?
Quote:
If you think about it.. Communism is one of the best forms of government, better than Capitalism. What's better than having land that's yours, a job, food.. and stability ? You don't get that with Capitalism, it's a corporate ladder process you haveto build your resume up, go to college and take courses where you'd find and learn the same thing from online, and go into debt for years on end for a piece of paper. I'm not saying Communism is perfect, but you'll never have a Democracy unless everyone's equal.
Communism can only work if everybody agrees all the time or if all work was being done by resource cheap robots. It just won't happen any time soon. And uncontrolled capitalism is the entry ticket to plutocracy, or "pure evil" according to some. Though democracy "works" for the most part, the concept of "absolute democracy" - where anybody may vote on any case or idea - is an idealistic concept in theory, it wouldn't be able to keep our society together. You see, democracy has more roles than simply letting people vote. It also needs to protect minorities from violations from the majorities, ie. acceptance of difference. Not to force people into being equal.

Having land and owning property were abolished, supposedly considered "necessary" for equality. But having a job is guaranteed, even mandatory. Stability, well that depends upon if you can keep your mouth shut when in the presence of KGB or other forms of secret police. At least that has been the case.

Okay, I'll specify a little further here. What were the total casualties from start to finish of Operation Overlord? What are the total casualties from start to present of Operation Iraqi Freedom? Your choice if you wish to have both allied and axis or either one, but be consistent with the respective number for the other operation.
My point is that the casualty figures for Overlord are themselves as much lower than an equivalent area of the First War would have been as the figures for Iraq and Afghanistan are lower than Overlord - casualty figures aren't a very helpful way to compare conflicts.

Which had more casualties, the entire war in Iraq and Afghanistan, or June 6th 1944 on the shores of France?
most likely to be france, because in iraq modern warfare has now gone down to, guys with guns getting blown up with hidden IEDs (Improvised Explosive Device) compared to afganistan where when you shoot someone on the opposing side, they shoot at you back.
