Given the right situation, I can run extremely fast.
I can play by ear, hear a song and then play it.
I have the ability to scare the crap out of somebody just by looking at them in a particular way
I am extremely lucky and always manage to escape situations unscathed
I have the ability to make people see things from a different point of view and open their minds
I am extremely good with words

I draw pretty well.
If anyone has problems with grammar I'm the first person they will ask.
I'm good with computers even though I don't know much about them.
Animals like me too.

My brain has a nice memory pool allocated to intense study. In fact, I can have the impression of a, "Kevin H. (Not Responding)," window during deep research. Apparently, this subtracts a lot from my social skills.
I can pick up written Indo-European languages fairly quickly, although I usually lack the creation of the long-term special interest after the intermediate stage.
I can walk at decent speeds and near-silence even in a crowd. I can also block out the noises of the crowd, if I feel I must.
I have always had some kind of empathy with animals and technology, but animals and computers are neither conscious nor sapient, so there must be a better word to describe the certain intuition.
It probably does not count as a special skill, but unless I actively consider modern vernacular, I tend to be very pedantic.
It sounds odd, but it has been noted on several occasions that I react to loud noises moments before they happen. :? That should not be possible, but who knows when NT's stop imagining? Or might it be an affinity for infrasound?

My hidden talent is film making.

My public talent is exhibition rifle drill.

My hidden talent is sulking.
And moping.
And seething with anger. Quietly.

Why do you say that animals are not conscious? I have as much reason to believe they are as I do with humans. After all, humans are just animals which I happen to be a part of.

They do not have language, they will not make clothes under their own volition, society cannot be large-scale except for those small enough to practically be walking robots, and all those things that differentiate humans. I am sure the ability to understand animals is common even in NT's, but thinking of computers as somehow being sentient, sapient, self-aware, and conscious puzzles me when I reconsider my actions.

It's easy for many people to come to the same conclusion about some autistic people as you have for animals.

I did not mean it in that context. I just stated that there are big differences between the human race and other species, and expecting them to understand language (not just tone) with its syntax, parts of speech, and vocabulary is rather absurd (dogs understand simple commands, but is it really possible to have a proper conversation?). I wonder if there is a word to describe that connection to non-humans. I highly suspected friendship at one point, but a discussion in another thread resolved that issue. I know that neither animals nor computers will understand if I write a soliloquy and recite it, but I do that anyway.
