We can do self-employment stuff... mowing lawns and such... and we'll do it together, so that we'll have company while doing it! :D It makes jsut as much money to do it together, because with more than one person the job gets done faster (except with some things, like mowing lawns)... or better, let's start a business together. But an unofficial one, one that we can take wherever we go. Hmmm... I can officially stay in Alberta on social assistance while actually wherever you are, so I'll be able to access funds for myself from the bank. :)

Why do you post peoples' pms on the public board? Kind of defeats the object of them... :?

That looks a nice place and those machines look new... is one for drying or something, surely you wouldn't need two machines for 3 people?

So you pay enough of the rent where you are stuck in a lease?

Who here is actually willing to donate their house or apartment for this use? :D You can come with us if you want, Richard!

yes the rent in this two bedroom house is $890 i pay ruffly $400 and half the utilities.

wich means i only have $150 dollars a month to spend on sportscards, now you can see why im counting down to extinction.

i want outta this lease!!

Looking back i should have never signed a lease for a year with my mother, good god what was i thinking? i'll never do it again.

We need at least 3 other people... the more the merrier... and the cheaper! :D Even if you can't get permanent resident status, you can come up here until you get it. Canada's doors are way wider open than the US.

heh, for now, national security is becoming a big issue, even in canada, afterall canada was involved in Afganistan and i think dontated a few troops for the Iraq invasion, dont quote me on that 1 tho.

Hmmm... personally, i like to live alone, but id love for u guys to be my neghboors. I dont know about living in the YMCA especally, could be a little rough. I would love an oppertunity to travel to canada and do some serious camping or a hike thru their vast pristine wildreness.

If u guys like the living arrangement, by all means enjoy!! ! Maby ill come visit someday when I obtain my passport and get a longer vacation from work, heh.

Canada is not at all involved in Iraq we made sure of that
and Bush has hated us since
but our politicians knew not to get involved and we're greatful for that
(the one smart thing the Liberals did) lol

hey kilroy, I knew u guys sent soldures in Afganistan, and its unfortunate what befell some of them (im refering to the friendly fire incident). Im pretty sure some canadian troops joined the British in Basra at least during the invasion, but im not 100%. Anybody else know?? Im very curious

Personally I did house 3 young people (18, 19, 20) I guess two years ago or so for about 3 months. They were not aspies but they
all were drug users and fairly inattentive ADHD. I did not charge them any rent and paid for most of their needs. But I was constantly trying to get them to seek employment. They all went through at least 2 jobs each and additional self employment like lawn care and scrap collecting.

Other than when meltdowns trigger bad decision on my part things were okay. Essentially I kicked them out as a result of me getting upset over minor things.

Anyway the lesson to learn is a group must have a well thought out plan for making money. The point is the problems keeping you from being free, happy and independent will follow you where ever you go.

Ya i have been their (well similar story) i had a roommate, he owed me rent and i knew he had very bad credit, money for him was rough, he kept spending it on stuff he wanted, and not paying me as I was renting him my spair bedroom, he was using all my appliences, phone, and digital cable, i gave him a week, he told me i had to wait, i told him he had to go. Friends or not, they r adults, they need to take care of obligations b4 personal enjoyment, its like ppl do it on perpose, try and get away with that cause ppl like us who r responsible will take care of it, we did the right thing kicking them out, ill tell ya, thats y i live alone, well... 1 of the main reasons, heh.
