nick, I ordered one of those lasers shortly after they introduced them. They're on massive back order though, since the demand was through the roof and production can't keep up. I expect to have it toward the middle to end of the summer.

Should be fun, but it's not to be taken lightly. I figured I'd jump on one since they've already caught media attention, and might not be allowed for long. I know several countries already have bans on them, and there are already more hoops to jump through when ordering one than there were a couple weeks ago.

What are the hoops to jump true :?: Did they charge your credit-card when you ordered it or will they wait till they ship :?: Now if they can make the beams solid soon... :D

i have a pair of those jbl 4350's. they are at my other house, but one of the 15" transducers is dead, and i can not find another one of the same spec to replace it with. i did not include your picture because i got a "could not obtain smileys data" message.

anyway, i bought a pair of these about 2 years ago and they are stunning, but not as good as the 4350's which i got from a recording studio when they were upgrading to urei monitors

this is a professional pic to show what it looks like

here is a crude phone pic of one of mine to show it's size relative to a keyboard.

Wait. This thread is for posting pictures of what you physically want? I thought it was for posting whatever you pleased. I'll continue doing what I've been doing, I think.

I hate you :D I have the opposite end of the 4300 series, a beautiful pair of 4301Bs that I scored for free. My girlfriend's dad saved them from the dumpster when a TV studio got rid of them. They sound so good, I can hardly imagine how nice the big monsters must be. Doesn't JBL still make those 15" drivers, or at least a similar model?

I'm not exactly sure, but the word is you now have to prove your age and complete some digital signature form. Since I ordered before this went into place, I don't know the details. When I ordered, I just had to check boxes saying I understood the hazards. The potential for abuse of these is frightening. I regularly handle firearms with utmost attention to safety, but even I'm a bit leery of a continuous beam of instantly-blinding fury.

My credit charge still shows as pending. I believe they'll take it when it ships.

I can actually afford this one ($1400). I might get it if I only exclusively hunt deer and other medium game. It's beautiful. A Model 700 "Desert Recon".
