i don't know how common this is in the military- but where i was stationed, there was at least one sargent [actually 3- a private sargent, a sergeant sargent and a major sargent. speaking of majors, there was also a sergeant-major major.

That raises the issue of what do they do if you're a guy named "Sargent" and you rise to rank of Sergeant?

Like what if you build a new high school, and decide to name it after someone with a name like Martin Luther King Jr.? You cant call it "Martin Luther King Jr. Highschool" because it isnt a junior highschool. Lol!

There is a high school named Martin Luther King, Jr. High School according to Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Lu ... (Cleveland)

Only one I can think of is Hitler due to this documentary called Meet the Hitlers I watched a bit of the other day. There was one guy with the last name Hitler who named his kid Adolf. He was covered in swastikas, had a hitler mustache, loved hitler's ideology, and was bit a crazy, honestly. Tried to get a cake made at a bakery that said Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler on it and they refused to make it. He was confused by their resistance. All the other people with Hitler for surnames seemed sane in documentary.

on the commercial tv channels, they have censorship, at least outside of watershed, where the F-word is dubbed over with the preferred euphemism of "funster."
