The pistol that Abraham Lincoln was killed with was a one barrel Derringer, bored counter-clockwise and loaded with black powder and a round ball of naked lead and a separate percussion cap.

The first six-shooters weren't revolvers, since they had no revolving feed. They were so called "pepper boxes" with six separate barrels and muzzle-loaded with black powder and greased lead balls.

Queen Victoria of England was the only royal person ever that was "only" queen in her own country but emperess of India.

Frans Joseph of Austria-Hungary on the other hand was emperor of Austria but after 1867 "only" king of Hungary.

Frans II of The Holy Roman Empire of German Nation was also Frans I of Austria 1804-1806 and after that "only" Frans I of Austria. He was the only double-emperor ever.

The Holy Roman Empire of German Nation was founded 962 by Otto the Great of Saxony. It's last emperor was above named Frans II. Napoleon finally ended the Empire in 1806.

At the beginning Rome and northern Italy actually was situated within its borders. Some decades during the 13th century all of Italy was part of it.

Joseph Philippe Pierre Yves Elliott Trudeau (October 18, 1919 – September 28, 2000) was the fifteenth Prime Minister of Canada from April 20, 1968 to June 4, 1979, and from March 3, 1980 to June 30, 1984.

Trudeau led Canada through some of its most tumultuous times and was often the centre of controversy. Known for his flamboyance, he sometimes wore sandals or a buckskin jacket in the House of Commons; dated celebrities; occasionally used obscenities to insult his opponents, and on May 7, 1977, did a pirouette behind the back of Queen Elizabeth II.

The first exploding cannon balls first were used during the Napoleonic wars in Europe. Before that the only exploding weapons were hand grenades with a fuse or so called "hell machines", waggons or boats filled with gun powder. The earlier cannon balls were solid and made of iron, because their weight was so great anyway. Rifle bullets were made of lead, if they weren't suppose to use when killing a very powerful person, in which case they sometimes were made of silver due to its "magic" qualities.

The cigarette was born some time in the 18th century: beggars in Seville began to pick from the ground the cigar ends left by the señoritos (rich young men), wrapped the tobacco remains with paper and smoked them. The first attested use of this habit can be seen in three 18th century paintings by Francisco de Goya: La cometa (The kite), La merienda en el Manzanares (Picnic by the river Manzanares) and El juego de la pelota a pala (The ball and paddle game).

One of the first cigar smoking women in Europe was the French author George Sand.

Mr. Dressup was a Canadian children's television series which was produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation from 1967 to 1996.

The series starred Ernie Coombs (an American who later became a Canadian citizen) as Mr. Dressup, a character who had started on the earlier series Butternut Square.

Mr. Dressup's most famous segment involved reaching into the Tickle Trunk to pull out a costume for a skit or play. It might be an animal costume, or a policeman's or fireman's uniform, or some other outfit in which he could dress up and play whatever role was suggested by the costume.

The final episode of Mr. Dressup was taped on February 14, 1996. However, repeats can still be seen on the CBC. Coombs died of a stroke on September 18, 2001, in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 73.
