I substitute-teach during the week, and work a delivery job on weekends.

The delivery job basically sucks. I have to be in a loud, crude, dirty environment. Driving is good, though, because I am by myself and get to listen to music. The money is also decent, considering how little work is actually involved.

Substitute-teaching is wonderful. I get to do all the creative and engaging parts of teaching, without any of the paperwork or the year-long social commitment. I feel like I'm on a lecturing tour. Every day I get to go somewhere new and talk about academic subjects to a captive audience. I've learned to overcome (though not eliminate) the fear of unfamiliar places, and I can put on a great show. 8)

So you're the guy we talk to that we cant understand!! !
haha, j/k. I dont mind it, i'm all for making money and outsourcing, but you should hear some of the dumb hillbilly americans complain about outsourcing customer service, as they wear their asian made Levi jeans and drive their mexican made cars.

As for me, project manager at a commercial painting company.
We deal nearly exclusively with retail stores so my job is mostly just bull sh*****g with retail managers and making sure things are done right, no interuption to customers, to products and any kind of daily operations. Everything is being kept clean, that kind of stuff.
Lots of traveling too which can be fun but also sometimes last minute for maintenance emergencies that can be annoying when so unexpected.
But very much enjoy it.

i work at the railroad

i hate my life (well right now anyway)

been there 9 years and it hasn't been all bad but right now i'm in a bad spot. mostly anyway, i got accepted into this program, i start it tomorrow and i'm still not really sure what they want me to do, but they send me to different locations and feed me dinners and stuff like that, so basically it's like a get out of work free card i guess, provided they don't kick me out now that i have disciplinary action pending (for technically violating a rule, but i'm adamant that i didn't do anything really wrong or unsafe). but i digress. :(

i am a second year legal assistant student at Red Deer College.I work at the Red Deer Real Canadian Superstore as a price checker part time after school and on weekends.I love this job because I get good exercise AND I get to use my superior spatial skills alot...memorizing where everything is and verbally giving instructions to customers on where certain items are.

I'm an internal investigator for a company. I investigate possible employee theft, policy violations, etc. I also have several collateral duties.

For the most part I like what I do. I'm seriously considering some alternatives, though.
