Hey, why do they show commercials that involve Christmas before Thanksgiving? They should wait until AFTER Thanksgiving before they start showing advertisements about Christmas. Sometimes they even start before Halloween. Christmas is great and all, but one holiday at a time, people.

traffic at the surrounding mall area at 4pm on a saturday is worse than traffic in downtown seattle during rush hour, at this present day.

Obviously, money's a huge factor..

Thanksgiving?
Halloween?
Try Labor Day.

The insane part is by starting "the season" so early, when December rolls around people are expecting major discounts.

Fortunately, my dogs only care about the sunny season and rainy season.

Really, Labor day? That's as bad as starting the back to school sales two weeks after Summer vacation starts! YIKES!!

ALL HOLIDAYS, ALL THE TIME.

I don't mind because I totally love Christmas, Christmas songs, etc. :B And they play Christmas songs and show pictures of delicious pie in those commercials.. XD;;

By the time Christmas actually comes, everyone is sick of it. People who've had their trees (and fake trees *shudder*) can't wait to take them down the day after Christmas. And there's the issue of the tree dying before Christmas, because it was put up so dangged early!

One thing I like this year, however, is that most of the commercials are calling it "Christmas" and not "the Holidays". It must be uncool to be politically correct now, thank God...

That picture should be made into a Christmas Card.

I love Christmas commercials. I am already putting up decorations and baking cookies and listening to Christmas music. Target has some fun Christmas CD's right now.

Or at least they could wait until 1st Sunday of Advent (29th of November this year).

But it might be better to start a week (2?) before so people could get their Advent wreaths, candles etc. Or whatever are the traditions in people's respective countries.

Here they begin selling Christmas stuff in the middle of October. And when Halloween comes (a brand new custom here in Denmark), Santas and witches, pumpkins and Christmas candles are mixed together. Looks silly. :?
