I'm actually pretty lucky not to get the unbreakable burger, I was on the table across...
We all thought it was really funny....
she literally had to break it apart with her fingers and it wasn't a very easy process apparently..

Obviously, you've never eaten at an American public school cafeteria. It's pretty much the norm there, unless things have changed in the last 20 years.

Thats funny, the other week I got a burger (on a wheat roll) and fries. The burger was fine, but the roll was so unbelievably hard that I couldnt bite threw it. 
My theory is that they must have had the rolls near the stove/heat, and it dryed the rolls into bricks.
Since I was eating it at home, and wasnt going to drive the whole way back across town to return it, I had to eat it on two hot dog rolls
Something else funny that happend once. Me and my cousin orderd chinese, take-out. He got some sort of rice that came in one of those tall cardboard containers. When he got towards the bottom, had already eaten most of it, he pulled part of a brillo pad out of it. I laughed so hard it hurt He didnt find it to funny

If I had to guess, I would say they were probably cleaning a pan with the brillo pad, and forgot to take it out when they were done, or else it fell in off a shelf or something.
At least we knew they clean there pans! lol

She didn't send it back, she ended up having to break it apart with her hands and she even struggled with that...
Yet alone it was overcooked.
