I was once 176 cm tall, but I am 20 years old and have not measured in 3 or 4 years.

I'm 186 cms, (6'1"), tall and that's quite average for a Dutch bloke, I think. (dislike being average but what to do here?) (high heals?) 8O

That's a little more than 160 cm, I would guess. Hard to keep track of all the erratic "feet" and "yards" and what have ye.

5 feet, 3 or 4 inches, and that's an averege in my culture. :D I do believe food during childhood development could be a factor.

I don't think I can say about my height, I haven't checked my height in a while but I have a feeling I have grown.
I probably think i'm about 5 ft 5 or 6 maybe taller.

I'm definitely not a tall person and most my mates are taller than me.

If you see people from villages in the middle of no where (like some I have seen in documentaries in places like Cambodia) they are usually shorter than average...probably the food as you said (or just a lack of 'genetic variety').
