My mom was from Germany and was an animal lover. I inherited her love of animals, especially cats.

My dad is American of Italian descent.

My mom loves to watch Shrek the Halls every Christmas. So I got her a talking Shrek Santa doll that she puts on display every year.

My dad's favorite sport is golf, while mine is tennis.

My mom wasn't into sports in general, but we loved to watch Rafael Nadal together.

Whenever I'm staying overnight at my parent's house, and I ask them if it's okay if I take a bath or shower, my dad always says, "Just as long as you put it back". Groan. :roll:

Actually, if he didn't make that joke every time I asked, I'd be like "Who are you, and what have you done with my dad?" :lol:
