I like dogs better than cats, what about you guys?

I had a siberian husky puppy when I was little and loved it, but someone stole her from our yard. After that I have been more amenable to cats. I have had three different cats (but all at different times) and they have always been very loving but I like that they are not needy and can entertain themselves. It seems like they know when you would appreciate their company while. Dogs on the other hand tend to be jumpy and intrusive. I'm not saying dogs are bad or anything - just not a fit with my personality.

Cats, on the whole, are preferred.

Slobbering brainless Red Setters are particularly objectionable.
And little yappy lap-dogs.

But I'm not wild about cats... It was suggested that I could build up to relationships by having a cat, which idea I acted on. It didn't provide the spark, but just another set of duties. I looked after her well, and I could make her purr, but it did little for me.

Definitely something missing in my make-up.

Kittens and puppies.

I like Labs (any breed, although Chocolate Labs are my favorite). They're really calm and peaceful, and seem to have a way of putting anyone at ease. Yet at the same time, they truly seem to desire a person's company, and offer warmth and unconditional love.

I like them both as they both have their positive aspects. I don't like the tiny yappy dogs though, I do object to these as they are highly irritating.

I prefer dogs over cats any day of the week, but I do like cats (well my cats at least).

I prefer cats because they are independant yet affectionate when they want to be.

I think I'm going to have to move this to the Random Fun forum, as this is a random question.

I love dogs because they give unconditional love and have great personalities.

I dislike cats because they are the exact opposite.

I like both dogs and cats, although cats are preferred because I am used to them more, I grew up with cats around all the time.
I am allergic to cats so I like short-haired ones. Siamese are my absolute favourites.

They are way more affectionate and loving than cats, who only seem to come to you when it suits them...

I love cats . I dislike most dogs, since there barking annoys me . There barking often make me bark too. i get into arguments with dogs, and don't even know what we're arguing about.

I like dogs but I really like cats.

I love all animals .......... well, except most Homo Saipians anyway
