I am hoping people might have some useful tips. After all, aspies excel at entertaining themselves at home, from what I have notice. Me, Im not much of a homebody. But I cant really go out as much as I would like, for various reasons.

So, what do you do to entertain yourself at home? What sort of activities do you spend the bulk of your time doing?

Today I have decided to get on a bus and go to the local supermarket for ingredients, and then come home and bake a cake. That should keep me busy for a while.

Surfing the Internet and watching films. Those things alone take up the bulk of my days; you lose track of time and get lost for hours once you find a good film or website.

And if you feel artistically inclined, like I do, you can also draw or write stories.

I usually spend most of my time on my laptop surfing the internet. That alone could entertain me for hours.

masturbation, the ultimate form of "personal time" :P

also, watching movies, texting cute cuddly girlfriend, going for walks along the trails or just up to the mini-mart, reading long novels, hanging out downtown, practicing the 5-finger discount on minor goods that i really need (pro status), surfing the internet, etc.

On-line scrabble...love it! Go to lexulous.com on Google search and register. You can play with people from all over the world! :P

Wrong Planet...can't wait to get in every day!

I wash clothes for all my family, six people, it's my job...love it! I do it like no one else...all other house work? Well there are five other people to take care of that... Do you have a favourite chore?

I don't like cooking especially baking. However, I'm the mum around here, I must cook sometimes:tongue: . You're right zen_mistress, when I decide to cook, about twice a week, it keeps me busy. I'm meticulously clean in the kitchen and I don't want any kitchen hands. I need to be alone when I'm cooking.

If you have children, "hanging with the kids" is always heaps of fun. We either play Yahtzee or just lounge around telling jokes, stories or watching our favourite shows & movies. We never go to the cinema so we get to watch all movies on DVD in the comfort of our home.

Also, if you have close friends, invite them over for drinks, tea, coffee & conversation. I do this regularly with my three best mates and we take turns to host. However, sometimes another person will be invited to join, by one of my mates, and this can get uncomfortable for me. You might feel the same.

I hope I've been able to give you some helpful tips. 8)

I listen to YouTube and post on WP, when I'm at home. There's also lots of chores to get done, as well.

It certainly was a bit personal, wasn't it?

Thanks for the tips, guys! I am still looking through them, trying to see if I can add anything to my collection...

I made chocolate chip cookies instead of a cake, here is a pic here, I kind of burnt them a little and didnt flatten them enough, nonetheless they taste quite nice..

Yes I surf the net too... my boyfriend plays video games at times, perhaps I should have a go at it. It is called Age of Empires.

Drawing and writing stories is an idea I especially like, thanks IdahoRose.

As for the self-love, well,,, probably not the sort of time-filling activity I am seeking, but fair enough if it helps pass the time! =^-^=

zen_mistress I had a look at your cookies & I wouldn't say they're burnt but incredibly golden. I don't much go for sweets but I'd dunk a few of those in some ice cold milk!! They look good :P

Seanmw did you get the reaction you were after with that? Haha!! ! you're cheeky but I'd be very careful with the five finger discount thing. :shameonyou:

...unless of course by pro-status you mean that you used to practice the activity...
