Also, its good to know when to use the right speech for the right situation. There are some topics where it is okay to be goofy and sarcastic and there are some topics where it is absolutely not okay to joke around. This has really helped me at least. No I am not one of the "popular people" but I can at least say I get along here.

Hope this helps

Which brings this to mind:

I'm sure that a lot of lesser-known people here have similar personalities and whatnot. Why haven't they been noticed (read: elevated to Popular status)? Does a lot of it come down to "who's been here longest + postcount/quality + posting in the right place at the right time in popular threads"?

Why thank you. :) I didn't come to think I'm a leader type.
I guess it all came naturally. :)

Cockney is prolific, nice, and well-represented. She's sort of the mascot of WP. And I mean that in the best way possible.

Thank you. :)

I'll keep this short to say, some people have a certain charisma about them which tends to draw others near them..
So, I simply go about being who I am whether popular or not.. :) :)

Tim tex is our resident spammer of hello's greetings welcomes and out right fapping. All boards have them it wouldnt be the same.

Cockneyrebel has been on this board for so long i think shes part of the coding. Plus she's totally obsesed with a cool band who hail from my part of London so I can't complain. To be fair only failures in life have a problem with this women she's so humble and modest.

Hale Bopp is quite a typical character of her native country. That kind of perspective aussies/new zealanders have can rub people up the wrong way you either like them or you don't. Half the male population of this board is probably trying to shag her, the other half are trying to shag valyossa.

At the end of the day its what you post not how much you post that determines if you are someone people take an interest in. Messageboards are funny little places.

Thats my two pence anyway.

lol what about the people who aren't trying to nor have found anyone they would want to shag for any reason other than sympathy?

Magnets are made up of an ionic compound surrounded by an uneven charge meaning that the electons are not as evenly spread out meaning that there is more protons then electons at one part of the magnet and more electrons then protons at another part. This creats an electric force that surrounds the magnet
