So today I wore t-shirt and shorts because it was baking outside, where I live. But the AC indoors is so cold. I purposely walked outside on my way to eat lunch (I could've stayed indoors as there are links between buildings) just to get a relief from the cold. I also chose a window seat where the sun was shining when I was eating. Weird how the purpose of AC was to get relief from the heat.

I hate in the summer when buildings and cars are freezing cold. Going back and forth between the cold and heat makes me sick.

I was recently at my friend's house, where I had to wear my thickest sweater because they keep it so cold. I went to leave and forgot I was wearing the sweater and nearly passed out from the heat. Got in the car, and he turned up the AC even colder than the house, it was freezing! Then back out into the heat and back to my house. I had such a headache when I got home. :(

Yeah. People who mess with the thermostat right after coming in from the heat are probably the reason for that.

It's not that hot here in Minnesota, so I don't have that problem atm. But I totally know what you're talking about, it seems to be the worst in grocery stores for whatever reason.

I actually welcome the cold of my air conditioner.

In the day, I keep the AC set at 75 degrees. At night, it goes down to 72. Very comfortable.

The max temperature for today was 99.6 F
If it is actually going to be higher then it was today then all I have to say is "Good thing I have an A/C!"

I like coming into a cold building after I've just been sweating outside.

I don't have any air conditioner, so I have to basically use a fan when I'm in he house which actually does kind of helped, but when I was doing PE (Gym) back in school, going to the changing rooms would be the dreadful thing since the air conditioner is literally always on which did help cool me down though, so I did pretty much appreciate the air conditioning.

Not when you plan to stay inside the building for a few hours.

I don't mind it TBH. Air conditioned air I'm fine with. If I'm in a car and the window's open on a cold day, though, then I get annoyed.

Overall, I prefer being cold to being hot, because when you're cold you can do something about it, whereas when you're hot you can't, and the cold won't make you sweat.

It's too warm out there today. It was already in the mid 90s at 11 am.

I have my air conditioner set in the low-mid 70s. Right now it's at 74 just to cut down on the electricity use. In the other rooms of the house with AC, it's as low as 67 - my mother apparently likes to freeze.

I love coming into a cold building. The colder, the better. I like to wake up from a nap and feel cold, and pull a blanket over myself. I also love how the carpet feels under my feet when it's cool.

I haven't an airco, but I plan to purchase one. Only... I am in a group home, and I will soon move out, to continue practicing living indepently. I will buy one after moving and after the heat. If the heat is gone, there are less people wanting to buy an airco. So I will have a lower chance that they are sold out.

I think before I buy an airco, I must know how many cubic meters my room is. Since I don't have a house to move in, I don't know the volume of the room, so it has no sense to buy an airco right now.

I use a ventilator to give some refreshment. Today, I am lucky, because it is about 70 F (22 C) outside. It is one of the cooler days in these weeks. The days before were warmer, and the days after will be warmer. Some close to 88 F (31 C).

the general rule-of-thumb is for most efficient heating and cooling, you need 1-ton [10,000 BTU] capacity per 500 cubic feet of space to be air-conditioned, so if you live in an 800 cubic foot apartment, you'd need approx. 1.5 to 2 tons of heat pump a/c power, between 15,000 and 20,000 BTUs. you could get that from 2 window-mount units.
