Anybody from Frankfurt, Germany? Any good places to visit? I'm also going to Paris and London while I'm in Europe!

I went to Munich once and was blown away -- and wished I went to Berlin.

I've never been to Paris. You are so lucky to get to go there

The sausage may be German, but the hotdog, like potato chips, ice-cream cones and hamburgers are all American! so thank you very much America (yippee, etc!)

That's interesting. I have a friend who's allergic to cigarette smoke. I guess I should warn her never to go to Frankfurt,Germany.

Frankfurt am Main or Frankfurt am Oder?

I guess that this first. If you're interested in literature, you probably know it's a city of Goethe. You should visit places connected with him.

They have many fests in Frankfurt. Maybe you can go to one of them?

In London, go and watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. It's free but you have to get there early to get a good spot where you can see anything. I went to Kew Gardens last time I was in London. Really beautiful. Next time I'm going to Westminster Abbey. Lots of tourists head for Madame Tussauds but I think it's a waste of money. The London Dungeons are always good for a gross out.

Also in London and Paris there are loads of art museums, if you are into that... in London The National Gallery, the Victoria and Albert (or something) gallery, Tate Modern if you like modern art, and also the British museum which has sort of greek and egyptian stuff... in Paris of course the Louvre (which I didnt get to go to as I got lost :( ) and the Musee De Orsay, amongst other things... I also got a boat trip down the river in Paris, but that was sort of because I was really lost and needed to find a landmark.
