I've been stuck on the same breakfast since September of 2009 but I can't think of anything else to eat. Every day since then I've had blueberries and waffles.

EDIT: Ok, so this isn't the EXACT same thread as the other breakfast one, maybe I should address the actual problem. How do you get yourself out of a food rut?

No worries, things move fast on this forum, but I knew there was a similar thread around. I wasn't trying to embarrass you, just help you out. My bad.

Why get yourself out?
Sometimes I don't have anything but macaroni, or another month and my obsession is strawberries. At this time, I can't seem to eat anything but nutri-grain bars
Ask someone else to make your meals. I don't know.

Are you aware of other food choices? Does it seem like too much work to unrut yourself? Make and print two images, one with a bunch of fruits on it, the other with a bunch of different grain foods, and play pin the tail on the donkey with them. Whatever foods you pin, you eat next day.

I'm quite happy with my food rut. I once got imprisoned within a shreddie.

Because one day I'll have a bite and feel like I'll barf if I swallow it. Then that food is off the menu forever. Never mind the feeling of yuck during a meal is unfortunate :( . I think the way I eat the same things over and over is fundamentally unhealthy.

No, I don't think I am aware of other food choices, really. The only ones I can think of are ones I've already eaten to the point of revulsion. I have a deficit of culinary creativity.

I don't think it seems like too much work to unrut myself, mostly because I have no idea where to start.

I get into food ruts, all the time, but at least I know what I'm going to eat, every day. :)

I've eaten nothing but pizza since I was 12.. so, I'm stuck in one too. :?

Despite the fact that I have a normal body weight, but still.
