Now I don't have problems with normal Christians... But the far right lunatics like this just piss me off...

I've seen comedy show spoofs of that, but I didn't realize before they were so accurate.

I think it's funny. It's far more lenient then what I grew up with. I was told to hold a bible between any males like I was reading it and if either of us touched it we were too close.

My husband and I joke about the Christian side hug all the time. We've even gone so far as pretended we were horny teenagers trying to get our freak on using the side hug.

Then again, we're odd.

The above is a quote from Xenu from a different thread.

Unless it's normal to not like it, of course.

Even as a devout Christian, I find that ridiculous. I find Christian Rap in general to be ridiculous, but this is so over-the-top it's practically a parody of itself.

A side hug sounds awfully close to a Sid hug.

That's what I was thinking when I opened the thread.

I thought he was going to flame Cockney

Edit:Video was hilarious, I don't understand why people keep trying to mix religion with everything.

I swear, sometimes religion takes things in such strange directions...this is just, well, ridiculous is a good word for it but I'm sure I could come up with something far more insulting ^.^

That is kind of crazy.. but, i admit, if i have to hug someone i prefer the side-hug. Maybe next time someone tries to hug me, i can go to the side and they will just assume it's because i'm religious and not because i really don't want to hug them?...

Let's all give each other a Christian side hug.
