If all of a sudden someone gave you some drugs and your brain switched from being an aspie brain to a NT brain would the difference in the way you think be shocking?

The only way it would be shocking is if I threw the iron into the bath at the same time.

There isn't enough information to answer it. Our identities are our brains are our identities; how would they be separated? It's as if *thinks* as if a computer, instead of having a processor and a memory (distinct components which could be replaced), the processor and the memory are the same thing (no way to replace one without the other); that's the brain. So the question can't be properly answered.

Something kind of like that happened to me. I got in a relationship & fell in love & it was like a switch got flipped in my brain; I seemed more like an NT. But I went back to Aspie when things fell apart. I've tried lots of mental meds after & in the end they f#cked me up worse than I was before

Apparrently parts of the apie brain that is dysfunctional are the areas in the brain that control thought and behaviour?

could that mean that NTS do not think very much?

I think aspies need to make a greater conscious effort to do some things that come naturally to NTs.

There are some threads in the adult forum about how certain psychoative drugs affect autism. I don't know if I'm allowed to link to them here though!

NTS handle stress better as well and want to be around people. its like how aspies have hobbies that they do by themselves. NTS basicly love to conform and are addicted to being social.
