I really prefer to look at myself with long hair but I can't take it getting in my eyes any more. Any ideas on what I should do? I was really thinking about trying to pull off Carth Onasi's hair cut from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. However my hair grows really fast so it might be annoying to maintain.

I might just do the same thing I always do though and just shave my head completely, you can also use this picture if you want to photoshop it to give me some better ideas.

Maintaining my hair is hard enough without having to glue it up.

This isn't the 80s, no mullet for me lest I invoke Wesley Willis' "Cut The Mullet" on myself.

I was joking, don't worry.

You should just cut it short. Or have to people do it in such a way that you have a decent low maintenance fringe or something.

I'm doing it myself lol. I don't believe in wasting money nor getting help from my family. I've been trimming away at the parts that physically annoy me (get in my eyes, ears or rub my neck the wrong way) and honestly it's depressing cause I miss my hair despite it's annoyance.

I started out with hair that looked like Anakin Skywalker's in Revenge of the Sith and I'm down to having it cut off halfway down my neck, around the ears and no lower than my eye brows in the front.

Buzz cut? That's what my husband does when he gets sick of his hair.

Right now he's growing it out like it was when we met because I mentioned that I missed his long hair. :D

Good suggestion but I'd prefer not to blend in anymore with army guys (I wear camo pants 100% of the time)

So go for slightly longer than a buzz cut? It'll be long enough that nobody will think you're military, but short enough that it will be a few months before you have to cut it again.

So? My BIL is as white as you can get and he has a natural fro when he grows his hair out. It's pretty funny to see.

On second thought... fro is a bad idea.

lol I can't grow a fro. If it was that easy you'd be telling me your husband could rather than your BIL.
