SO annoying when people chew so loudly and smack their food. CHEW with your mouth closed. Don't talk with your mouth full. Dogs chew loudly but they are dogs. It's so annoying when this co worker eats his lunch. I feel like I'm sitting next to my dog at work. It's really that bad.  I should just wear headphones so that I don't have to hear chomp chomp chomp.

Eating with my relatives on mom's side is bad too. The slurping of soup, the talking with mouth full, and making ah noises while you eat. It's a Korean thing, but I never have eaten like they do.

EWWWWW....
RAWR. I know what you mean. It bugs me a bit more than you though probs. sometimes I have to go and flip out in the bathroom.
I don't eat with my dad around because of this. It makes me murderous. If there's any noise trigger it's THIS.

Is it a normal pet peeve that aspies tend to have? Chewing gum like a dog. Also laughing so loud is annoying. Listening to IPOD on the subway train where others can hear you is so annoying! I wish the subway train had a quiet car. NO talking, NO listening to music, just peace and quiet.

I don't know. Every aspie generally has some intense pet peeve, it seems.
The gum gets me, too. I wish people could understand. I know it makes me seem like a control freak.
I would LOVE to lose it, but it won't seem to go away. :?

I don't think this is an Aspie thing. I've met a lot of NT people that couldn't stand it, either.

I've never seen the big deal about this, but I've always hated the "eating with my mouse closed" crap.

Me too. I suffered through that with my older brother. Sometimes I just wanted to smack the utensil out of his hand. I swear, we would tell him he was smacking his food and he would just say (through a mouth full of food  ) "No I'm not!"

It didn't matter that we were sometimes across the f*****g room and couldn't hear the TV over his noises.

GRrrrrr. My dad eats so loud he smacks like that too. It makes me seriously want to commit bodily harm. And any time I bring it up, my mom gets on my case for being rude. WHAT THE f**k.
And unfortunately I managed to find two best friends, BOTH of which are bad eaters. I try and put up with it for them, though.

Well, it is kind of rude to point out when someone else is being rude. I don't care. If you smack your food and I can see your food bits getting smaller, I'll f*****g say something. It's disgusting enough that we eat in front of each other. I don't need that on top of it.

Whatever. I think he's ruder. He gets food on his face, like... On his nose, and upper cheeks. It's nasty. I don't eat with them anymore.

Nevermind, I don't want to know. :-\
