This actually happened two days ago, but the effects are rather long lasting.

My ex admitted that she still loves me. She said that it feels different saying it now, but still! It gives me hope.

I had a fantastic day today. Everyone I came into contact with was happy and smiling. It was great. I had a wonderful time with two friends of mine. We had lunch and then we went shopping for mattresses. :D

You guys don't even know how happy I am right now. Just... like... seriously.

My ex and I talked for hours...

She's really busy lately, so I thanked her for taking time out of that to spend time with me...

And then she said that it was the best part of her day.

I can't even describe how amazing her words made me feel.
