my mom has alzheimer's. i took her to look at Christmas lights throughout our town and then for dessert. she had a good time.

I'm having one of those rare clear-thinking, extra high functioning days.
I left at 8am this morning and completed all my Christmas shopping for the family from detailed lists AND bought groceries - and was home by 9:30am.
Normally I'd still be wandering around thinking, "What the hell am I here for again?"

And I feel unusually happy.
What's wrong with me?

i am happy with the temperature dipping to the point that i can wear three layers during the day.
