The republicans won a slight majority. I'm happy about that.

Argh. Now what made me happy today in this strange world I live in now.

I have a new account on Mastodon. It is so nice there, so far anyway.

I wrote a nice fluffy fanfic.

The shopping was delivered from the supermarket.

That's about it.

The oven mitts and potholder set I ordered for my mom for Christmas arrived today. And they're wrapped up nicely, too.

:santa:

Lovely walk in the rain with my dog before it got too unpleasantly cold.

My FFD texted and we are going to go to Sea World together next month. Having her contact me really lifts my spirits.

For the first time since I was probably 10 it seems like my acne is completely going away. I've had spots on my face that have been there for years and they're fading. This also means that I won't pick at my face as much because I won't be triggered by my acne.

I broke my arm two days ago from a bad fall (which also required stitches on my chin). After a tiring journey through the hospital system, things have calmed down and I got reassured I don't need surgery.

Also coffee and cake.

That is so good, Hero! I've had bad skin all my life so I know how you feel. What helps me is Lush cleansing bars, did you try those?

I took my daughter round to various places to get a Saturday job today. They didn't have any jobs but they all took her name and number in case anything came up! :)

The Remembrance Day ceremony is over and done with. I can now put all of my focus on Christmas.

I haven't tried those, but I have been using new skin care products, including something with retinol in it, and I've also massively changed my diet since I've been trying to get my digestive problems under control.
