apparently there will be another series of sailor moon. and i have been going out with friends from the queer rights group HELEM and hanging with them in the centre and they're good fun. we watched the perks of being a wallflower in last nights meeting, my pregnancy tests came back negative, the wednesday meeting was about a book set in lebanons civil war era and the plot was about two lesbians who fall in love with the same bi-curious woman. it sounded like a good book but i had political issues with it because the author sounded like one of those lesbian feminists who think opposite sex sex is rape. it led to conversations about power dynamics, socialisation, gender roles and sexuality. it also led to jokes afterwards deriding macho men. walking down the street with one of the men holding my hand(i liked holding hands with him. he keeps reminding me he is gay though) and one of the other guys and they were both pretending to be macho and homophobic and sexist, one calling the other a fag and telling me he was my boss and would hit me because i was his property in a really fake deep voice and the other one trying to do the same but failing. then i tried to do it but it just made them laugh because i look innocent. it was fun. and we also played with the chopsticks in the restaurant like kids. he stuck them up his nose. he also almost threw off off the balcony(exaggerating a little.) and one of them showed me a new take out place that's cheaper and that i thought was imaginary. he had a heart attack when he found out i too like anime. also watched the guy i like turn Bauhaus font from English to Arabic. so cool. it's been a goodish few days with them. i will miss them sorely when i leave.

I did the math and figured out that all the seasons of Adventure Time (including a "season pass" to the one that's already in progress) will only cost $101. I just need to save up my money for 3 more weeks and then the adventures shall commence! :D

Beautiful weather (at least for January in Pennsylvania) and a chance to go hiking.

I will watch the whole movie when it comes out on DVD. It's kind of a bummer that, in my opinion, most of the cast isn't that great at singing though (from the clips that I've seen). Makes me wish that they'd done an adaptation of the book rather than the musical... Still, the Thenardiers! They're the biggest reason why I want to see the movie, though hopefully I will also enjoy some of the other characters as well. :)
