I have a plausible explanation for why I've been more patient than usual for the last year-and-a-half!
1. When one sleeps, assorted memories are filed and stored as they should be filed and stored.
2. The last year-and-a-half, I haven't been getting enough sleep on school nights.
3. Some memories are skipped, reducing the average sizes of the storage circuits.
4. The circuits are smaller, and the year seems to pass more quickly.
5. The lossier storage affects memories of waiting, so my perception of time decreases as well.
6. This is why I appear to be much older than 31 base 5.
"Sleep that knits up the ravell'd sleave of care,
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath,
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast,—"
