My PET scan did show what I was hoping for, and I will be getting the less invasive biopsy option.

Good news, for a change, in this rather harsh life existence.

my skin (on my face) looks really nice today (i.e. no breakouts/pimples)
and the sun makes it look really healthy
since the funny child always makes me walk outdoors for hours to look at air conditioners
(his 'special interest'... he even knows by heart most of the steps for how to fix them
despite only being 4)

so now i know what works for my skin..
good.

only thing is they discontinued the ONE item that does not cause breakouts and works
there is no equivalent.

so i bought 2 backups which arrived today...
i wonder how long they'll last....

i also like that MY TEST PREP BOOK ARRIVED :D

i don't know if it's good to be as attached as he is.

he cries/bawls with sorrow if his favourite one (one of the neighbours' down the road) is turned off...

Happy:
received my book that i'd been waiting for, in the mail just now! it wasn't there a few hours ago.

it's by joan collins, but an old out of print one about mindset, health, views on life, etc.
it's intended for women only, so it feels very relevant.

i really like it so far. it's very sensible.
it reads like a bunch of essays.
i guess she got more brash as she got older, but in any case i like her books (have not read any of the fiction and never will, i bet).

being a young and passionate autistic kid is tough. I remember when I was little i would get that sorrowful about my interests. I had so much love for my interests but they on occasion made me sad. Especially when they weren't around.

my brother was like him when he was that age

he cries/bawls with sorrow if his favourite air conditioner unit (one of the neighbours' down the road) is turned off...

being a young and passionate autistic kid is tough. I remember when I was little i would get that sorrowful about my interests. I had so much love for my interests but they on occasion made me sad. Especially when they weren't around.

he bawls (screaming and crying and hitting his head on the ground)

daily anything related to someone's fan stopping, or not being able to stay outside for more hours (because I cant stand the heat and dont want him to get heat stroke eirher)

he puts off meals because he is too excited in talking about fans and how to fix fans (from the videos he's seen)
etc
repeats himself endlessly for hours, if left to his own devices, and expects people to repeat after him (if they dont he keeps repeating the same phrase until they do) ...
it's cute now but how difficult it will be if kids bully him for it, or he can't control it and disrupts the class, etc??

i hope to help him temper it by redirecting to other interests too and block out a specific time for AC's...
so he doesn't have to suffer so much

i dont remember myself being like that (or maybe not self-aware enough to notice i was doing it)

but i was more like my elder also Autistic boy..

who internalizes and is more 'take things as they come' but has other issues...

but he is the same about having to have the one thing repeated endlessly for hours at least..

and he's more isolated. just like i was, coming and going... floating...very bad at organizing his thoughts and the order in which to do things. just like me..
but more severe..

i feel like ASD's disabling/difficult aspects just get more severe over generations..

happy: received my package and they also sent me a free lipstick
happy: putting on good perfume from perfume samples i got from a woman's etsy shop .. cute little rollerballs.. i love them more than the actual full size bottle (i have one of that too)

happy: wrongplanet\\

(ppl can ignore or scroll past or skim my posts,

so i dont feel guilty about inadvertently subjecting them to unrestrained 'how i actually want to talk' posts. as
it can easily be skipped.. whereas in real life the person cant escape so i try to be quiet as possible.. and not
have it turn into a monologue)
