I bought and used a spraycan with a specific ABS plastic "compatible" paint to whiten my Commodore Vic 20 instead of retrobrighting with hydrogen peroxide (slow, risky, has to be redone in 5 years). I learned that spraypainting is a bit of an artform (which i got the hang of) - i just had to take it slowly and in steps to get a good result, or else the layer would be uneven since all leaning surfaces make the paint pool and flow down and create thicker areas on the sides that look ugly.

Also won a spare Amiga PSU of an auction and found my original C64 power supply so now i dont have to buy one of those either. Also happily ordered a joystick because i got confirmation that the SD2IEC (SD card reader that emulate a 1541 diskdrive) was shipped today from the UK.

Overall - a good day, inspite of it being Friday the 13th (Crosses fingers for the last 1.5 hour).

Federer and Nadal are in the final in Shanghai! That's going to be a good match!

The tennis is amazing, with Federer, Nadal and Istomin all winning titles this year, including two majors each for Roger and Rafa! If Rafa wins Shanghai, it will be his sixth title of the year.

I feel optimistic over the progress I'm making re-starting my geology. Information is simply sticking easier, and my interests have expanded beyond the course this time to incorporate some leisure-based research as well. It disturbs me to think I can't literally set my mind to much of any task during a depressive relapse, but nonetheless I am determined not to let negative moods creep up on me so much. Perhaps wishful thinking!
