What are you doing for Halloween?

My best friend's sister is getting married on Halloween/Sunday. My very cool (and very cute ) female cousin is going with me. I just bought a suit today (plus shoes, belt, black socks, etc....) and all told, it cost $739.00. It was a worthwhile investment however, i'll be needing a suit for job interviews anyway. It will be a masquerade reception, so everyone is wearing a mask or a costume of some sort. I wanted to keep it simple, so i'm just wearing a batman mask.

nothing. staying in and having a drink. maybe chain smoking.

Stay in and watch a few horror movies.

That and ignoring the door when the kids come.

Thank you very much for asking this question. ^^I believe this evening I am happily remaining at home with Nell and Plato and I believe viewing television whilst providing sweeties to the children when they knock upon my door or ring my happy door bell.

Off to a party in about 30 minutes. It is an adult party but with kids running amok. Screaming and alcohol. Could be a short evening for me.

Eating candy my mom got for trick or treaters MUWAHAHAHA

I gave out the last bit of candy to neighborhood kids about half an hour ago. I also ate a decent amount of bite sized butterfinger candy bars meant for those neighborhood kids... I like those damn candy bars a bit too much, I do. Now I'll be sitting around, lurking here, maybe drawing a bit... nothing too lively... enjoying the down time.

I seriously wanted to turn off the lights to pretend no one is at home so that the brats don't keep on ringing the bell. But parents said Halloween is tradition so had to keep the lights on. So annoying! People living in apartments or condos are lucky right? No trick or treat at all. Oh then close to 9pm 3 teen girls came by. They looked around 15 or so. I stopped trick or treat at age 11. I'm glad its all over but then there is next year.

Not only was it me dressed up as the general, but my friend came as the admiral, my girlfriend was dressed up like one of his kids, and a former coworker of mine was his wife. Another friend played John Langdon.

We don't celebrate Halloween. (There's a similar festivity in February, but luckily I can exclude myself entirely from it. )

Don't feel bad Richard, I didn't do anything either and I'm a Druidess (NeoPagan). There's always next year.

If I'm back in Arizona, we should find other Arizona Aspies and all go have an adventure of sorts next Halloween/Samhain.

My adult children like to spend Halloween with me, that would be great if they could be there too. They're probably your age. Maybe we could sneak into a ghost town or two.

I heard that the Copper Queen in Bisbee is haunted but I haven't seen any ghosts there myself. Maybe they're trying to drum up some business with a spooky story, I don't know.

There is that one really old place in Tombstone, I can't remember the name, it was a strange name. I heard that some ghost hunters actually found evidence of it being haunted, but I don't know if that's true either. It is rather weird in there. It's far more authentic than other places there. It's like a very small stage and area of tables, kinda like a dinner theater, a very small dinner theater.

We'll all have fun searching for haunted places whether we find them or not. We could camp out as well.
