I love Chutney. I went to the organic food market and got Spicy Dark Chocolate chutney. It's so good. It has dark chocolate, cocoa, onion, ginger and spices. I love it! It's like eating ginger chocolate cookie batter. I also like this really good plum chutney I had when I was eating coconut shrimp at a steakhouse. Who else loves chutney?

I've heard of it, but I've never tried it.

Chutney is spicy fruit relish of Indian origin. As the OP's post demonstrates, there are many, many variations. It tends to be expensive, so it's something I would buy on sale and use to add an exotic touch to a plain meat-and-potatoes menu. Now that I'm thinking about it, I just might check out what's available at full price.

Once I ate a sandwich with turkey, lettuce, and cranberry chutney.
