I like the weather now.

I just hope it doesn't rain.
And I could've just leave the house now.
But I don't feel like it. I feel like just feel the wind by the window.

I've started putting ideas together for a short story / vignette based on an event in my life but I'm having trouble developing a few of the characters I want to include. Finding a first sentence is hard too, so sometimes I leave the opening paragraph to the end after I've found my voice. Then it's easier to write the intro.

Why does it feel weird if a friend has the same name as me?

I have reached the earliest milestone of having completed one month of a forecasted 18 month recovery period from surgery and its after effects. Well, only 17 months to go, one day at a time....

My schools had mimeographs, even through to college. :D Loved the smell of the solvent.

The copies of my masters thesis were done with carbon paper onto onion skin paper.

I wonder if my descriptions on how I felt makes sense to anyone who reads it on the "If A Cure Is Proposed, Would You Try It" thread?

It makes sense for me so far.

And I'm not even the best reader in this forum.

I write my (longer) stories in segments and then join them together (sometimes, I have yet to actually finish anything  ). The intro is rarely the first thing I do.

If I wanted to "think" like an average NT, I would simply bash myself on the head with a hammer til enough brain cells died.

(Don't take this as an insult, Cyber. I've noticed two types of 'autism parent'. The one who makes it about themselves & the one like you and mum who care about their kid & tend to be a bit closer to autistic & intelligent & tolerant of differences than the average NT)
